Competitive Comparison
In comparison to other restaurants such as McDonalds, Subway, and Taco Bell, the produce of the Green Diner is fresh and organic while those restaurants say that their produce is fresh, it is not organic because the factories that processes it pumps it up full of chemicals such as nitrates and GMOs. Also, another thing is freezing of food. At restaurants like McDonalds, their food items are packed and frozen while at the diner, our produce is brought from farmer's markets and stores such as Sprouts. Next is the material of the plates and utensils. At most fast food places, the plates and utensils are mostly made out of plastic or Styrofoam. At the Green Diner, the material of our plates and utensils are either made out of recycled paper boxes or wood for the plates and wood for utensils such as forks. Next are the drinks because in most fast food places, the drinks contain chemicals such as aspartame in Diet Coke while at our diner, we make drinks from scratch such as soda, juice, or smoothies. Finally, the last thing is that cultural diversity in our food, our food ranges from Mexican to American while other fast food places only have American options.
